The Featherite Laboratory is a feather and down testing institute based in Cape Town, South Africa. The lab technicians have trained at international IDFB accredited feather laboratories and tests are carried out in accordance with the IDFB Testing Regulations 2010.

Cotton Traders tests multiple samples from every incoming shipment of feathers and down with Featherite Labs to be certain they are of the highest quality. If there is any dispute over quality the feathers will not be used in a finished product.
